This marketer’s entrepreneurial tenacity and passion led to the design of fashionable recovery garments for women facing cancer surgeries and treatments.
Like her mother Eileen, who had been diagnosed with ovarian cancer, Eva was a BRCA2 mutation carrier. In 2016 Eva decided to have a preventative double mastectomy and hysterectomy with oophorectomy. She had witnessed her mother’s frustrated attempts to find functional but stylish recovery clothing that could accommodate PICC lines, drains and ports. Eva had 6 surgeries over 18 months and faced the same wardrobe challenges. Those experiences and Eva’s luxury branding expertise inspired The Eileen & Eva Heal With Style Collection. The beautiful garments are designed in California and can be purchased in The Eileen & Eva online boutique.

The Eileen & Eva Peach & Strawberry Sangria
Ingredients for the cocktail:
1 750ml bottle of Dealcoholized white wine
2 cups sliced strawberries
1 cup peach nectar
2 cups fresh or frozen peach slices
1 orange cut into thin slices
1 lemon cut into thin slices
1/4 cup strawberry syrup
ice cubes
Preparation for cocktail:
Mix wine, strawberries, peaches, orange slices, lemon slices and strawberry in pitcher. Chill.Serve over ice.
